What you need
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Mac is coming later.
- 8 GB of RAM or more. With less, Opsyo still works: it picks the light render load and renders more slowly.
- Free disk space: the app itself is about a 400 MB download, plus its media library - the installer shows how much the starter set and the whole library need before it downloads anything.
- An internet connection for the install, the sign-in and your AI. Rendering runs on your PC and works offline.
- Your own AI: a Claude or Codex account, or an API key (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, xAI). Opsyo does not sell AI.
- Any graphics card works; on NVIDIA cards the render uses NVENC hardware encoding and is faster.
Download and install
Open opsyo.com/download and press the Windows button. You get a small installer (Opsyo-Setup.exe).
Run it. The installer asks whether to download the whole media library or the starter set; the starter set is enough to begin, the rest can be added later in the app.
The installer can add Opsyo to the Start menu and the desktop. When it finishes, start Opsyo from there.
If Windows SmartScreen warns you
If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", choose "More info", then "Run anyway". SmartScreen warns about new apps it has not seen often yet.
Download Opsyo only from opsyo.com. If your antivirus stops the installer, write to support@opsyo.com with a screenshot of the warning.
First launch
The first launch walks you through a few short steps: sign in (a browser opens; you can also skip it), connect your AI, choose a voice (optional) and the library. Every step except the AI can be done later in Settings.
Then describe your first video: Your first video shows the whole path.
Updates
Opsyo checks for a new version itself: Settings → Updates. An update keeps your projects, keys and library.
Remove Opsyo
Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps → Opsyo → Uninstall. It removes the app from its install folder; copy any projects you want to keep somewhere safe first.
Still stuck?
Write to support@opsyo.com. Include the app version (Settings → About), your Windows version and a screenshot. Never send keys or passwords. More answers: Opsyo help.
